Prenatal Bellyoga classes

“Yoga promotes feeling of inner strength, peace and equilibrium, and is the foundation of an Active Pregnancy and Birth”

My son, Leo, was born the 16th of May 2014 and I had a wonderful birth in the pool at Univesity College Hospital.

I practised both Yoga and Bellydance as the main path to achieve an Active Birth and found myself at the end of pregnancy with a thrilling thrist of experience childbirth.

Since day 1 of your pregnancy you will experience a tremendous hormonal change and physical transformation. I believe it is important to become aware of every one of your body changes, acknowledge them and embrace them, be part of them. The breathing at yoga will help easing the pain at labour and enter a state of calm and relaxation; the asanas or yoga poses will strenghten those necessary areas for childbirth and the journey throughout pregnangy.

Bellydance will simply melt through: all the undular bellydance technique will help to promote good posture, improve pelvic floor control, soothe backache during pregnancy, increase self-esteem and bond with your baby through rocking and soft movements.

Also Bellydance is one of the oldest forms of dance and performed in birth rituals among womens and has been proved to reduce pain during labour!
